Since being introduced to 8tracks and kexp I became more addicted to this type of music. It is just soothing and relaxing to listen to. Regulars in my playlist these days are The Paper Kites and The Lumineers. I don't know with others but I think having the right music helps get me into the mood of writing. Well, it doesn't work everytime but I think mostly it does.
There are still lot of artists I'm hoping I could listen to 'coz you know there's this enormous forest of videos called Youtube where artists who have a hard time getting through mainstream can post a video of their songs and hitting the play button might just land me a new favorite. Covers are also great but listening to original songs are much better.
